3.0 out of 5 stars Good coverage on Humvee, but dated, November 28, 2010

This review is from: Hummer Humvee in action - Armor No. 32 (Paperback)
If you were building a model of an early version Humvee, or wanted details on the Humvee up to 1994, then this is a very good book. It does cover most of the versions of the Hummer. Of interest, it also has 5 pages to the first civilian Humvees (what we now refer to as H-1, not the souped up SUVs that came later).

48 pages of B&W photos, some narrative, line drawings show you the M998, M1038, M1035,M1069, M1037/42, M966/1036/1045/1046 TOW, M1025/26/43/44. One page addresses the Stinger/Avenger version.

Some of the in action photos are of Panama and a few of the first Gulf War. Squadron could easily make another book based on all that has happened since this book was published to better cover the uparmored versions. The date of publication is why I rated it three stars.

If you're ok with the age of the book, its a good one.
