Affordable and compact, the Fishfinder 535 utilizes 20-degree, single-beam sonar optimized for coverage and precision bottom detail that reaches a depth of up to 800 feet. While ideal for small spaces, this fishfinder is big in performance, with real-time sonar that instantly captures the action under your boat at up to 40 times per second, and Sonar Echo Enhancement that reveals the smallest details -- even your jig! All the information you need is displayed on a high-resolution, five-inch LCD screen with 320x320 lines, in 16-level grayscale in your choice of Inverse Grayscale, Whiteline, High Contrast Bottom Black, or Structure ID Bottom Presentation. This fishfinder has a high-speed, micro-dynamic transducer for optimum performance that is reliable up to 70 mph, and even includes water temperature and is speed capable. The Fishfinder 535 is easy to control with X-Press Menus that access the most important controls with fewer button presses, and lets you switch between actual fish returns or Selective Fish ID+. This fishfinder features one-touch zoom with 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x zoom levels, and TripLog with distance, elapsed time, and average speed when used with an optional speed sensor. This system also features a selectable large, easy-to-read digital readout with an LED backlight for night fishing, adjustable chart speed, and a memory that retains your settings, as well as alarms for depth, fish, and battery life. The Fishfinder 535 includes fully automatic or manual operation, with upper and lower range controls. As an added convenience, this finder is ultra-compact in size, with an easy-on, easy-off mounting system that allows it to go almost anywhere. The Fishfinder 535 is built tough with fully gasketed and waterproof construction so it even floats, and is assembled in the USA with a manufacturer's one-year warranty.
The Fishfinder 535 runs on 10-20 volts of DC power, providing 250 watts RMS output and 2,000 watts of peak-to-peak output. This unit operates at the 200kHz (20-degrees at -10db) frequency, and has a target separation of 2.5 inches to reveal close-hanging fish. The Fishfinder 535 comes as a Transom Mount with a tilt-and-swivel quick-disconnect mount system and measures 7.25 x 7 x 4 inches (WxHxD).

Humminbird 535,

This review is from: Humminbird 535 5-Inch Waterproof Fishfinder (Electronics)
I bought a Humminbird because of favorable past experiences with their fish finders, and this one is no exception. The directions make installation a breeze, except the transducer initial location was too low, requiring me to re-position the bracket (meaning more holes in my boat). The 535 is simple to use and the menus make it easier to use than earlier models. The unit works well at high speeds but occasionally defaults to 3.5' in depths I know are deeper, tweaking the transducer helped but it is still not 100% accurate. I use it primarily in depths from 2' to 60' for fishing and shrimping, and the adjustable sensitivity is great for both uses. The screen display is good even in direct sunlight, my only regret is I wish I would have upgraded to the dual beam model.Humminbird 535 Fish Finder
