5.0 out of 5 stars Design flaw..., April 5, 2005
This review is from: Humminbird PiranhaMAX 15 4-Inch Waterproof Fishfinder and Dual-Beam Transducer (Electronics)
The Humminbird Piranha series is great, but it has a design flaw. The suction-cup mount forces the transducer to point in a single direction. Not good for a canoe without a transom. It always points off to one side of the canoe! The solution is a clamp-on transducer mount made by Tite-Lok which allows articulation in any desired direction. The best price I've found is at jandhproducts.com Happy fishing!
