This fishfinder has a high-speed, micro-dynamic transducer for optimum performance that even includes water temperature. The PiranhaMAX 30 is easy to control with one-touch access to its full set of advanced features, which include selective fish ID+ with target depth, fish alarm, depth alarm, zoom, and sensitivity. This system also features depth range, bottom view and chart speed controls, as well a memory for your settings. For your viewing ease, the PiranhaMAX 30 utilizes big, easy-to-read digital readouts, a high-contrast bottom black viewing option, and a three-level backlight for night fishing. The PiranhaMAX 30 has been designed to be particularly portable, and includes a rugged portable case that protects your Fishfinder while in storage or transport. This unit is built with a no-skid bottom that helps keeps it in place, while the built-in transducer has a cable wrap with cover, and a suction cup that lets it mount on most aluminum, wood and fiberglass hulls with a smooth surface. When traveling between boats, the PiranhaMAX 30 can operate on eight AA batteries, or when installed it runs on 10-20 volts of DC power, providing 100 watts RMS output and 800 watts of peak-to-peak output. This unit operates between the 200kHz (20-degrees at -10db) and the 125kHz (90-degrees at -10db) frequencies, and has a target separation of 2.5 inches. The PiranhaMAX 30 comes as a suction cup and wireless standard mount, although there are other possible mounting options.
