5.0 out of 5 stars A necessity for running two transducers on one sonar unit.
This switch is a necessity for anyone wanting to run 2 transducers on one sonar unit. This will work for older sonar units, with the aid of adapter cables.

This is the second TS2 transducer switch, I has bought, the first quite working, this one after installed seems to act the same way. I have not tried it out because of weather. It won't be until spring when I know for sure. The first one clicked when I first put it on, the second don't, It seems like the rubber boot puts pressure on switch and it don't click. When boot is...

The switch arrived in good time and the packaging was excellent. All the parts were there and much to my surprise, I did not have to purchase any additonal cable to make my connections to my Humminbird WideSide and the Minn Kota Dual transponder. I have a Humminbird 717. I tested the switch before installing. It toggled both ways but once I installed the switch with the nut with the rubber boot, I could no longer hear the click. The boot seems too tight and I was not sure whether I was in A or B. Finally, I just used my own nut and I can hear and see the switch in the appropriate positions. I would have cut the opening in the boot to make it larger but not to damage anything if I would have had to return it. I keep my boat covered and I think they are trying to make this water proof but nowhere in the instructions did they say to increase the size of the opening. Anyway, if you are going to run with one Fishfinder and two transponders, you don't have much choice, at least with the Humminbird system.

2.0 out of 5 stars A/B Switch for two separate Transducers, January 26, 2012

This review is from: Humminbird TS2 W Transducer Switch (Electronics)
The switch performs as expected, switching between the trolling motor transducer and the transom mounted transducer. The whole was so small that it prevented the switch from fully engaging in position. I had to tweak the weather proof rubber cap that fits over the toggle lever by enlarging the whole in order for it to engage properly.

Switch was received promptly. Installation was relatively simple. However, design was flawed. Cannot install the mounting nut on the switch shaft as designed. The nut has an integral rubber boot that cannot fit over the switch knob; and the knob cannot be removed to install the nut first and then reinstall the knob. Had to cut off the boot to complete the installation. Switch works well; but is not protected from water entering switch at this time.
