The Humminbird 343c Color Portable Fish Finder is an all-in-one fish finder for the recreational angler that offers incredible ease of use and GPS chartplotting. The 343c is compact, but full of already built-in capabilities, with the ability to add advanced accessories, making it the perfect companion for your fishing outings.

The 343c Portable is ready to go right out of the box, and has a DualBeam PLUS sonar that is selectable between 20- and 60-degree beams, or simultaneous operation, to deliver both wide coverage and better bottom definition up to 1,000 feet with a target separation of only 2.5 inches. This fish finder includes real-time sonar at up to 40 times per second, and Sonar Echo Enhancement sensitive enough to track a jig to over 40 feet. This unit's high-speed, micro-dynamic transducer is reliable up to 70 mph, and even includes water temperature and is speed capable.

The 343c has a 3.5-inch, sunlight viewable TFT LCD screen that sports 320 x 240 lines of resolution, in full 256-color brilliance that enhances the clarity of the bottom, fish, and structure. This fish finder includes X-Press menus so you can access the most important controls with fewer button presses, a digital flash viewer for real-time flasher performance, and a selectable, large digital readout view for easy readability. This fish finder lets you choose between TruArch for actual fish returns, or selective FishID+ with a target depth. This unit also features a one-touch Bottom Lock and 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x zoom to enhance resolution and separate fish from structure, as well as fresh and saltwater set-up options for optimal performance in any environment, and an adjustable backlight for night fishing. With 750 waypoints, 20 routes, and 10 tracks with 2,000 points each, it is difficult to find a more complete system.

The Humminbird 343c is designed to go anywhere, with a rugged carrying case, a 12-volt battery with smart charger, a non-skid water-resistant bottom, and quick-disconnect mount system. This unit measures 5.25 x 7.4 x 4 inches (WxHxD), and comes with a suction-cup mount transducer. Humminbird has done it again. The 343C Portable performed remarkebly well. The LCD screen was clear and display was crisp. The unit is loaded with features.
The suction cup transducer and 15' cord mounted effortlessly to the bottom of my Clacka Craft fiberglass drift boat.
Water temperatures were 34 degrees but this had no impact on the suction cups ability to stick to the surface.
The 343C carrying case provides a stable base and may be placed practically anywhere on your boat without fear of the unit tipping over.
I highly recommend this unit to folks with any boat, canoe and cayak.

This is a great fishfinder. I looked at these for months, and decided for the money this was the best product. I was right. I love the fact that I can watch fish change depths on the screen.
