The Humminbird XNT 9 20 Transom Mount Transducer is a high-speed transducer designed to mount on the transom, or back, of the boat, in contact with the surface of the water, and operate in conjunction with a compatible Humminbird sonar or fish finder system. This unit is a single and DualBeam transducer that features 20- and 60-degree cone angles operating on 200 kHz and 83 kHx frequencies respectively.

The XNT 9 20 includes a 20-foot cable, and all the necessary high-speed hardware to get up and running right away. Although this unit has the same hole pattern as some older-version transducers, it utilizes a new design that is more secure and less prone to kick up at the high force of waves, as well as having an improved running angle, and an optional lock-down screw to override the kick up. The Humminbird XNT 9 20 transducer is specifically designed for use with Humminbird's; Matrix 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 27, 67, 77c, 87c, 97, 717, 727, 737, 767, 777, 787, 323, 343, 363, 383, 141, 161, PMax10, PMax15, PMax20, PMax210, PMax215, PMax220, 917c, 931c, 937c, 957c, 997c, 515, 525, 535, 565,580, 585c, 595c, Piranha 2, Piranha 4, XP2000, XP4000, and HDR610 sonar devices and fish finders. This transducer is backed by Humminbird's one-year limited warranty.

Product Description

Transom transducers mount on the transom of the boat in contact with the surface of the water. Many models incorporate an impact release feature that allows the transducer to pivot up and out of the way if struck by an object. 20ft cable and hardware included. Purchased this item based on description on amazon page.It said it had the temperature sensor,which it did not.Called to get the right one with temperature sensor I was sent the same one again.Finally I gave up and said I would send both in for credit,they said fine.I then had to call up to get a credit on my discover card,they originally sent me a email saying my credit was denied.I was told I should of sent both items back in seperate packages,but originally I was told to send original item back with replacement item.I am still waiting for credit.In the mean time through my own research I ordered item xnt 9 20 t-that has the temp sensor.Customer service was no help.

This model Transducer does not have temp sensor XNT 9 20, if you need a model with a temp sensor you will need to purchase model XNT 9 20 T.

The Humminbird XNT9 20 transducer is a well-built and sturdy piece of equipment. I expecially like the spacer that helps reduce rooster tailing. I wish there was some built-in feature to protect it from accidently being left on so it doesn't get fried.
