5.0 out of 5 stars Looks like a jewel in your hummingbird garden!, July 31, 2008
I purchased a couple of the 12 oz "Fancy Fuchsia" Hummzingers and had them deployed in my hummingbird garden within minutes of arriving off the truck. They were to replace a couple "Perky Pet" feeders, one of which held 32 oz of liquid, which was a waste and rather ugly to boot. I won't ever buy another feeder that holds more than 12 oz--in order to keep the sugar water fresh you need to change it every 2-4 days anyhow, so why have all that excess spoiling in the sun?

I was concerned that the hummers would not accept the new feeder, but in the first few hours after installing it, the new feeder has already had plenty of business, with visiting hummers often sampling two of the ports before fluttering off in pursuit of nectar or insects. At first the hummers looked confused, but they've already figure it out, and it's only been about three hours.

I especially like the color of the fancy fuchsia feeders--the color sets off the red, white, blue, and purple flower hues of my hummer garden. It is certainly an elegant-looking feeder, both up close and from afar.

Edit: 15 May 2009
I'm now starting the second hummingbird season using three of the HummZinger Fancy Fuchsia feeders. The feeders have been easy to keep clean (dishwasher safe) and easy to use. I set them in different garden areas around the house and the hummingbirds use all of them, including using the perches sometimes. I haven't had any issues with wasps or ants so far.

A male oriole has started using the feeders as well, landing to drink the sugar water. He's quite beautiful as well, so I can't say that I mind.
