The Mag Force 7 Series is very enterataining stuff, and Hung Out moves quickly with well developed and likeable characters.

I really enjoyed the book.,

Despite reviews to the contrary, I found this book to be quite entertaining. While probably no literary classic, it was extremely funny and action packed. It is so hard to find a humorous adventure book anymore, I treasure the few I do find. Please don't tell me I've read the last of Rauol and the Little One!

Instead of writing a detailed review, I will will just defer to my one-line summary. OUTSTANDING! You really must read the other novels in the Mag Force 7 series. And the Star of Guardians series too.

A decent book, but the same old plot is getting tired...,

Well... I've read the first 2 books in the series, and I've read just about every other book Weis has written, so I felt obligated to read this as well.Unfortunately, after 20 pages, I felt that I had already read the entire thing. I suspect that writing 5-6 books a year has strained the creative "juices" in Weis' brain, and she is just churning out the same books with different titles. If you enjoyed the first 2 books, you'll like this one, but don't excpect anything new or exciting.

The Knights of the Black Earth,
By A Customer
This review is from: Hung Out (Mag Force) (Paperback)
The Knights of the Black Earth (Margaret Weis is a fantastic book, which I could not drop for three days. It includes Sci-fi, drama, action and much more. It features wonderful characters, with a huge variety and even introduces old favourites from the Star of the Gaurdians series (also Margaret Weis). It is a must read.

I Dunno...this is sort of *enjoyable*, but even as you're enjoying it, you feel sort of guilty, because objectively you know that this is not particularly good stuff. You certainly can't compare it to Weis's earlier work with Hickman or on her own. It may be worth blowing some time on--it's fun in it's own right--but I wish Weis would stop mucking about and get back to writing *good* fiction.
