These Stand-Up recipes TM are printed in full color on both sides of a full size page and laminated between two sheets of plastic. This new style does away with the usual textual format. Numerous color pictures leads the chef through the cooking process illustrating the proper colors and textures. Besides prescribing the recommended ingredients it is also advises about the importance of timing and cooking temperatures. Suggests the proper use of spices and their effect on the flavor and the visual appearance of the dish. Because of the laminated format the page is protected in the "hostile" kitchen environment from spills and other "hazards" and may last a life time.

Who would of thought that making superb Hungarian Goulash would be as easy as 1-2-3!! The recipe and format (the detailed pictures and instructions) were extremely easy to follow. Who ever thought of laminating the card certainly knew what it would be like to work in a busy kitchen! The laminate thoroughly protects the card (recipe) from any potential damage that may be encountered in a kitchen. The recipe produced a hearty and full bodied goulash: the paprika amounts provided ample enough aroma and spice, but were not too overwhelming; the bacon added just enough flavoring and body to not make the goulash too soupy. Overall, I was delightfully surprised that the finished product was the best goulash I have ever enjoyed, much better than one could ever hope to find in a restaurant in the USA; you will literally have to go to Hungary to find a goulash that is this good!
