3.0 out of 5 stars Tales of Obsession, March 9, 2004

This review is from: The Hunger: Wetwork (DVD)
This is a collection of four tales of obsession from the Showtime cable series The Hunger. Although the package says "with Terrence Stamp" he only introduces the first two tales. The other two are introduced by David Bowie.

The Face of Helen Bournouw has a failing reporter uncovering a series of suicides all linked by a mysterious woman whose face he must see.

The Other Woman has a fashion designer falling for an ambitious apprentice. His wife suspects and eventually it all comes together in a confusing ending.

Triangle in Steel moves to a more rural setting as a steel bridge is being built across a river. A new rivet catcher becomes involved with the wife of a tribal leader. An interesting tale of working the high steel.

The Falling Man has a theoretical architect driven to building a masterpiece by a mysterious woman. Another odd one as we really don't know much about the woman or her motives.

As this is a Showtime series, there is plenty of nudity and sex thus making it unsuitable for some viewers.
