For when it hurts to laugh,

I'm not going to lie -- and all of you bingers out there may well agree -- I had more fun lying in bed hungover reading this cookbook than I ever would actually TRYING to follow one of the recipes "the morning after." To be honest, it's the first cookbook I've ever actually read and not just turned to the recipe I'm planning on trying. It's insightful and thoughtful, AND I found myself giggling at times -- even when a laugh could cause a headache to go from "mild" to "splitting."Now I'll just have to try the food...

I really enjoyed this cookbook. It has delicious recipes, as well as funny anecdotes about drinking. This book would make a great gift for someone that enjoys having a few drinks and good food.

I'm loving these culinary comedy cookbooks these days. I also just read Get in the Kitchen Bit@hes and Get Back in the Kitchen Bit@hes, all these books show the authors love cooking, but also don't take themselves all that seriously. Since most of us are not trying to be Bobby Flay, it's a very refreshing feeling to just play along, enjoy the humor and still be able to easily cook something up that makes you feel proud.

No no no. This is not what you want to eat when hungover. This is not what you want to read when hungover. The author of this book is the type of person that you want to punch when hungover. The cover, however, is gorgeous.

Does anyone else see that the name is spelled wrong? Or is it supposed to be? Am I the only one seeing this bs?
