A few reasons why this CD has become a classic are that it represents simplicity, raw & intimate worship with a deep theological perspective.

For example, the title cut 'Hungry' is not a just worship song that is about God. It is directed to God. So as you start to sing, you find yourself calling out to God himself. It's not just calling out something nice about God. In simplicity terms we use every day are blended with the bible to help anyone connect with Jesus. The bible says taste and see that the Lord is good. This song takes that concept and turns it back into a worship song. So if you are at home or in a small group or a church service or listening to a faster version of it on the radio, the lyrics take solid biblical truth and help you pray it to God. That's part of the reason why so many people love this CD. On top of that, the musical technical quality is excellent.

I would recommend it without hesitation. It also makes a great gift for anyone who is seeking God.

I never tire of listening to Hungry. "Child of God" is absolutely stunning and never fails to leave me in tears knowing of God's love for me. The whole CD is awesome and will bring you closer to the Lord.

I bought this CD almost two years ago and God still uses it to still my heart and realize His presence with me. It is by far my favorite worship CD I have ever bought. Do you desire intimacy with Jesus? This CD might help you find it. I know it has helped me.

I have heard many worship-albums, but in my opinion this is the best ever!! Lyrics and music all in top... Keep an eye for new productions from Vineyard UK!

I got this CD when it came out in 1999. I still listen to it. It is raw God centered worship. Listening to it will make you Hungry for Him and falling on your knees in worship. Buy this CD and hear the songs sung by the original writers. You may have heard the songs on Michael W Smith's cd's Phillips, Craig, & Dean and others but this one will blow you away!

I have never regretting getting this CD from the moment I bought it. Outstanding worship, I would reccomend to anyone!

After glancing over the reviews, I see that we are not the only ones who feel that this CD will never get old. I, too, have been playing it for years. Wendy, Kathryn, etc are such annointed singers and musicians, it is hard to deny Christ's spirit leading them. I will never get sick of this CD. It is truly a classic :)

I bought this when first released, quite by accident, and fell in love with it. I am buying another one because I wore it out. It is a dynamic worship album that invites anyone with a 'Hungry' heart to enter in and sing love songs to The Master. My children and grandchildren enjoy it as much as I. First intro of 'this is the air I breathe' which Michael W. Smith has recently re-released. Awesome work!! A must have for believers. Timeless.

This is my all-time favorite CD. The words and music are anointed and will take you on a journey of love from a real God as one song flows into the next. It's ALL good! I purchased this CD when I found that the only copy I owned was BROKEN! I do not want to be without access to this music. It is destined to become a classic because the sentiments embodied in the worship are timeless. All believers who desire a deeper relationship with our awesome, loving God should own this CD and share it with others. My CD came timely and in good order.

This is an awesome CD. Sometimes worship music is so "over-produced"...I so appreciate the simplicity of this CD. It really has beautiful songs.
