I really enjoy Kosheen. Their music is some of the best around for me, but this cd was very disappointing because there are only 2 remixes on here. The main one, Hungry, while I didn't recognize by name at first, is an awesome song. I don't think the Decoder & Substance Version on Here really delivers though. It is great for playing in a club, but with not much variety to choose from, it is kind of hard to just be happy with that and also I think the remix did not do the song justice really. The good part about all this is that the second song on the Single is Dangerous Waters, which is a dark and downtempo remix. For me that was almost the better song on this cd. Very trip hop feel to it, which I really am enjoying these days as my taste has somehow evolved or maybe I am just reminiscent of the 90's and early 2000 decade when electronica was coming into it's own. These days it seems like it was all just a fad. The record companies have moved onto the next big commercial thing. It looks like as I am listening to the cd now that there is yet another song on here called Live for Today (Original version). This song has very dreamy and strong vocals, which I love and the same trippy feel of the trip hop bass beat. Even though these two songs really save the cd for me, I am a little upset that cd's come out with only one mix of the song or even the original song off of the album. That is kind of insulting that the record companies put singles out without the consumer in mind.
