My four-year-old son whose native tongue is not English doesn't speak English very well. This book has an easy to follow and interesting plot. Key words repeat several times. I pointed out those words to him and before I knew it, he is able to read several sentences. Now he's asking for more books about Lucky, the main character of the book.
