My eight year old granddaughter and I listen, laughing as we try to sing the silly songs (the lyrics are included). As a recently retired teacher, I believe it builds her linguistic skills but she simply finds it silly and fun. Although she likes them all, she is best at Oodles and Oodles of Noodles.

Katherine Dines is an award-winning children's songwriter who has compiled two volumes comprised of very special selection of lively songs certain to entertain and engage children from 18 months to 3 years. This two volume CD set for preschoolers is very highly recommended and especially appropriate for family preschool, daycare center, and community library children's music collections.
