5.0 out of 5 stars NO "GETTYSBURG," BUT STILL GREAT!
Randy Edelman knows how to score a film. He outdid himself on "Gettysburg," and has outdone "Gettysburg" with his collaboration with John Frizzell on "Gods and Generals." This soundtrack doesn't hold a candle to the aformentioned titles, but this is a great one, nonetheless. A fine CD! Worth the money. Grade: A+

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing Special Here
If you were expecting another soundtrack similar to Gettysburg, forget it. There is not as much depth or inventiveness with "Hunley", although it has its moments. This soundtrack emphasizes the dramatic aspects of the movie more than the romantic.

4.0 out of 5 stars Above Average, September 28, 2002
This review is from: The Hunley:Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1999 Television Film) (Audio CD)
Certainly it does not compare to Edelman's masterpieces, Gettysburg and Dragonheart, but his score to The Hunley is one of his better orchestral works. It stands alone very well and makes for a pleasant listen in the car or around the house.
