The majority of my hunting takes place in WI. The author nailed the hunting way of life in this state. It felt as if one of our own guys from our camp wrote this. Besides covering the heart of WI. hunting culture the places he mentiones, many of which I've hunted in really hits home. I'm sorry I waited so long to buy this one.

My husband isn't a big book reader, but he loves deer hunting. He truly loves this book. This book is really great and has amazing pictures inside. It would be a huge hit with anyone who likes deer hunting and is also interested in how it all began.

This is a revealing look at the history of the sport of deer hunting and how it's changed. Very enjoyable reading for any deer hunter.
