4.0 out of 5 stars Classic GB Gaming, August 4, 2001

This review is from: Hunt for Red October (Game Cartridge)
...at it's best. The only reason I write this is because, yes, I own a 10 year old game, but even (especially) since I got my GBA I want to hold on to the classics, and this is definitely one of the lesser known ones, with a unique genre. There's really no puzzling anything out, it's all covert seek and destroy or be destroyed submarine warfare with the Red October, as you try to make it to US shores to defect. What makes this game great is the AI..impressive for a game boy, you can play hide and seek with subs, hovercrafts, destroyers, jets (?!) or lure them to their untimely destruction. There's 8 levels of this, all with a unique layout and catchy music. If you want to start a game boy classic collection, make sure this is in it!
