This book is about Boba and his adventures with Jabba the Hutt!
If you want to read it, I suggest that you read #1 (The Fight to Survive), #2 (Crossfire), and #3 (Maze of Deception) first!
I recommend the whole series!

My 9-year-old can't get enough of this series. These books are well-written and even enjoyable for me when I read aloud to my son.

I thought it was a great book. Sets up perfectly for the next book. Boba fights Durge and gets a Jetpack, and meets Jabba the Hutt for the first time.

Star Wars: Boba Fett #4: Hunted, by Elizabeth Hand

"Hunted" is the fourth book in a six book series on the life of young Boba Fett. In "Hunted," Boba Fett flies to Tatooine to find the crime lord Jabba the Hutt.

Jango Fett, Boba's father, had left instructions for his son to go to Jabba to learn knowledge. But Boba runs into problem after problem on Tatooine, first losing his father's Mandalorian helmet to a street gang, to having no credits to buy water - a necessity on the desert planet.

Will a trip to Jabba's palace teach young Boba the knowledge necessary for a bounty hunter?

As with the other books in this series, I'm not entirely thrilled with the writing. I do understand that they are written for younger readers and I'm over the intended age, but I wish Star Wars had kept up the quality a little better. The passage of time in this series isn't clear - the first three books seemed to take up only days, but this book is apparently set months after the event of book three, "Maze of Deception." At least the story in "Hunted" was better than the previous book.

My 12 year old and 10 year old son loved this book. I have tried for years to find books that would capture their interest, but had a hard time convincing them of the pleasure that can be found in reading. Well, this book and the others in this series captured their interest completely. My boys who I normally must force to read a book couldn't put this book down. They read the book in one day. I would recommend this book to any Star Wars Clone Wars fans.

These stories are written for 8 to 12 year olds, and 50 somethings who are star wars nuts like me. The 3 star is for the genre, as it seems to be of average quality to the other young persons books I have read and enjoyed.

I thought the review from the young man from arlington heights hit all the key points of the story. I worked in palatine for 18 years, keep reading and writing, MTFBWY.

This was a great novel. I just wish it was longer. This series gave Boba Fett a very nice historical background into his childhood.
