There is not much more to say about this fan beyond what I have indicated in the title of this review. Perhaps, however, a bit of elaboration is in order.

A comprehensive and easy to follow manual made the installation of this fan a breeze! The apartment in which we installed the fan was already wired for just such a device, so that was not a concern for us and I cannot address that issue except to say that the aforementioned manual does cover the topic of finding and preparing the right space for your fan. With a space already prepared for ours, it took us just under two hours to complete the actual assembly - including wiring and installation.

The fan, with three speed settings and reversible air flow, has kept us cool through the torrid Florida summer and remains quiet as a whisper as it delivers its soothing zephyrs.

The blades are reversible, offering a choice of basic white or faux oak.

No light fixtures here if that's what you're looking for. Just an efficient fan that has proved, for this user at least, a quality product.

I purchased this fan about 3 or 4 years ago and I have only good things to say about it. I specially ordered it from Home Depot and I've been totally pleased with it. It is very quiet unlike many other fans I've seen around. One thing I can say about the Hunter fans family is that they are definitly quality fans. My mom only buys hunter and when she found out I was in the market she insisted I look at only the Hunter fans. I don't always do as mother says but this time I did and am glad I got an excellent fan with not problems at all. I would give 10 stars if theywent that far. I also like the idea that we have never had to balance the blades and no a bit of wobbling from the fan itself.

I've had this fan for 3 or 4 years and I'm very happy with it. It's very quiet and you don't need to balance the blades yourself. Just follow the directions that Hunter sends with the fan and you're home free. Aside from very occasional dusting I have had to do nothing to the fan in order for it to run smoothly. I love the design the quietness and the quality of this fan that also has a very good price. Go for it you won't be sorry.

I have alway been very pleased with the quietness of the hunter fan. And this is just another hunter fan that I am very pleased with. I purchased the correct switch that goes with this particular model. Very pleased with the combination.

Great fan! It is so quiet even in the high setting that I often forget to turn it off when I leave the room. Hunter also has a light kit that is reasonably easy to install if you are in any way mechanically inclined.

The Hunter ceiling fan was deliveried right on time and was easy to install. It is extremely quiet and looks very nice.

The fan was pretty easy to install and it runs quietly. Nice price and speedy delivery from Amazon.

This ceiling fan is so good looking! We put it together, installed it on the ceiling and it was already balanced from the get go. No problems
The company that delievered it was very fast and had the product packaged well.
My only dillema, was choosing what side to put the blades on. The basic black or the beautiful deep cherry wood color on the other side. Decisions, decisions!
I opted for black to match my tv cabinet and side table and chairs. This fan is so quiet at all speeds.
The cat loves it, and lays under it when it is on.

This product should be marketed as a KIT. Its innumerable parts required a couple of hours of assembly, and the mounting screws provided were too short.
It functions well, and eventually we may forget how long it took to get the fan in place, but don't figure on taking it out of the box, putting on the blades, and installing it. It isn't rocket science, but you'll gain some experience you may not have anticipated.

We had a hot spell and decided to install a ceiling fan. I selected a Hunter model from Amazon based on earlier experience with Hunter fans. I installed it and it works great. It is ultra quiet and steady as a rock while operating. My wife, who hates ceiling fans, even uses it.
