Beware of faulty materials,

I purschased this fan for our new home 3 years ago, I only used it seasonally. It was installed properly and securely yet the connector between the base and the motor snapped and the fan came hurling down for no apparent reason, injuring my son. The company has not yet been notified of incident. I would have given 0 stars for this product but it was not an option.
