I was carefully researching tropical fans for a beachy coastal living room and knew I needed one with cream colored fan blades (not white), so I read and read the Caribbean Breeze description on several other sites, but felt most confident with the description AND photo provided on Amazon. Thank you as the fan has exceeded my expectations and is quite dramatically beautiful on our vaulted ceiling!

Much cheaper than other places (like Home Depot for instance), we ordered two of these for our dining room and adjoining TV room. I thought about installing them myself, but then decided better not to since in the dining room it was replacing a chandelier and I wanted to make sure the fixture would support it. Good thing - the electrician said this fan had more pieces than he'd seen in a long time, and were no simple matter to install. Now they give a perfect atmosphere change to the rooms, both in the patterns of the light and the soft whirring sounds at high speed that sound almost like wind through the palms. We are extremely happy with this purchase! If that should change down the road, I'll update this review, but on initial customer satisfaction, I give them top marks.

Nice looking fan. Installed it in a guest bedroom in a waterfront residence in the US Virgin Islands. Figured it was just the ticket. Wrong! Four years later the metal frames of the fan blades have rusted and the wicker is disintegrating such that the fan has literally sprayed our white walls with rust particles now requiring new paint
to cover.

This fan was rarely used and remained in a room that was generally closed to the sea air. Don't even think of placing it in an area with "Caribbean breezes".

I note that Hunter now has a similar model with plastic blades simulating the wicker effect. No big surprise there.
