Excellent quality ceiling fan with three lights and remote control. The remote control has three fan speeds and a dimmer control for the lights. Simple to install with good instructions and very useful "hinge" design that makes the final electrical connections very easy to make - no holding an ungainly fan while connecting wires. Blade balancing was not needed (balance kit was included) and the fan runs incredibly quietly at all speeds with no wobble.

The product arrived on time in excellent packaging. The product is as advertized and operates wonderfully! I'd have no qualms about buying from this seller in the future. I'm thinking about buying another ceiling fan or two. Hunter seems like an excellent quality fan.

I am not particularly handy but I am trying to work on that. I managed to get it installed myself but had some problems with it.

This mostly boiled down to the instructions. Don't get me wrong, the instructions were clear and concise. The fan, however, came in various stages of partial assembly which made the pictures/instructions etc not quite line up and made me think there were some parts missing. The canopy wring, for example, is shown as two separate pieces in the instructions but were placed together in the box. Some of the thumbscrews for the light fixtures were already attached rather than in a separate bag with all of the other screws. As someone who is slightly OCD, this made me a bit crazy!

The only other issue I had was with the remote. When the remote unit is installed, it is kind of hard to stuff it into the canopy and then get the canopy attached to electrical box. This is more likely a problem if you have a sloped ceiling like I do and you are trying to balance the fan on a tall ladder (I also have an extension pipe which makes the thing a bit more awkward.) Two people working on this might have helped.

Note that once the remote unit is installed, the fan apparently will NOT work with the pull chains or light switches. I can't verify whether it would work via switch/pull chains if the remote unit is left out but I bought a remote for a reason.

Once assembled and screwed in, it didn't work for me initially. I had to unscrew it and check my wiring again, thinking that something might have come undone when I tried to stuff the remote unit into the canopy. It all looked fine so after screwing it back into the ceiling again, I tried again. It still refused to work with the remote.

This fan was fairly simple to install and runs great. It's super quiet, you can barely hear it running, even on high! The lights work well and light up the room. And I love that the remote comes with it.
