5.0 out of 5 stars Really nice fan for the money.
After looking in the big box stores for a larger weather and waterproof fan for my outdoor open tiki hut porch and seeing absolutely nothing suitable, I checked online and I came across this beautiful 60 inch lighted fan with real teak wood blades (not abs plastic wood lookalike blades on most other outdoor fans) I ordered it and just had it installed and it is truly a...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good not Great!
Took me a while reviewing fans for out pool area, summers in South Florida are brutal! After lots of research the best option was the Hunter Original Outdoor fan, but at over $500 buying two wasn't an option for us, so we went with what we thought was the next best based on CFM's, and then found that CPO has the Grandview on sale because its the "cocoa" and not the...

We added a remote which controls the fan and the very elegant looking light fixture. Some places are selling this fan for $599 and compared to what the big box guys have in the $200 range, this fan is an excellent value for $249.00 I am very happy with it and don't have to worry about humidity or dampness cause it's made for "wet locations". Would recommend it, it looks much nicer than the picture. Very quiet and no wobbles.

Fan looks great, it does give air but not as much as expected, we have it on high all the time and I definitely need the second one. If it had a higher output and better lighting I would have rated it higher; on the other hand, the sale is unbeatable I'm very pleased that I didn't spend $599 which is the original price.

This is an awsome fan for the price. We bought it through the CPO Hunter Fan Company. They sell units that are returned or boxes opened, etc. They still have the Hunter lifetime warranty. It cost us $249.00 with free shipping. The fan arrived in a very short time and was well packaged. Everything looked brand new and from the factory including the original box. After inspecting, one of the teak fan blades was cracked when it arrived, but we contacted them and they sent out a replacement set at no charge. We installed it in a 12' vaulted ceiling porch over a deck with a 36" downrod. This fan moves some air. The 3 speeds are great and it's also reversable. The light is very nice as well. It takes those candellabra bulbs and the process is somewhat difficult to change bulbs. They could have improved this, but how often do you change bulbs. It is a very nice high end fan for a decent price. Overall, we are very satisfied with this fan.
