Bought this to replace the wobbler in the master bedroom that came with the house. Easy installation, rock stable, whisper quite. Can't go wrong with a Hunter.

This fan with light adds a whole new dimension to the bedroom. The light casts a most beautiful glow to the room.

The instructions could have been a bit clearer as to what screws were to be used on what section of the fixture.

Other than this one point I would totally recommend this Hunter Ceiling fan. You will not be disappointed with

this purchase.

The fan works very good and is quiet.

The light kit should not be used where you read or do any other close work.

No one should have to go through installation of this Hunter fan. It takes two people to install - one to hold the fan motor, the other to align the screw holes to connect the fan with the ceiling attachment. Both installers will break their necks and their backs doing this. Further, you have to install the light unit before you know if the fan has been properly wired (assuming you do not have a voltmeter). This should have been stated in the manual. Once installed, the fan is quiet and works well. In my opinion, installation of the fan to the ceiling mount should have been engineered much better.

Brass fans are getting hard to find. I needed to replace a brass Hunter with another Hunter if possible. This fan showed up in an Amazon search. All fans are a real pain to install. This one is about average on that score. Instructions are ok, quality of finish is excellent, balance when installed was perfect so no need to put weights on blades. Wiring was simple with just a plug in on the fan side. Price was higher than what many fans sell for these days, but considering the quality, it's reasonable. Would definitely buy it again.
