Great invention. Really works well. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes if it's not fully charged, the third LED light won't be as bright as the others. Other than that, it's a perfect addition especially if you live in an area where the power goes out often, have a pet who doesn't like the dark, or have children who get up to use the bathroom in the night. Much easier to pull this off the wall than to search around in the dark for a flashlight or rely on a stationary night light to do the job.

The concept is pretty good - A battery backup LED nightlight that can be used as an emergency light when the power fails. The size is a bit on the large side, but when plugged into an outlet it leaves the other outlet accessible. On the top is a phot cell sensor so that the night light is off when the room is lit. On the bottom is a white LED nightlight facing down. On the face are 3 white LEDS that provide a reasoauvle amount of light. On one side is a switch that selects "on, auto, or off" on the other side is a switch that selects the face light with 3 LEDS or he night-Light or both.

The nice thing is that the battery charges while it hangs on the wall and that the night light function or flashlight function works with or without power from the receptacle. This makes it a good addition where there are occasional storms that can cause power failure. According to the description the light lasts for hours (probably in night light mode) - which is the advantage of LED lamps.

The body gets a bit warm, which leads me to believe that the charger circuit is a "dumb charger" that charges at a constant rate regardless of the charger charger state. This tends to limit battery life to a year or two. Hopefully, the batteries are replaceable.

I was surprised how bright the light is and how many settings there are. Easy to use and I like the various settings for brightness and battery life.
