Customer Reviews

The Hunter PGP Adjustment Tool works exactly as advertised on my Hunter sprinkler heads.
Amazon Customer
I was able to adjust the the sprinkler head arc and throw with the tool, it also enabled me to pull the sprinkler head up out of the grass to do the adjustments!
Antonio Sandoval
The plastic paddle end is a very soft plastic, so be careful as some old sprinklers need a bit of force to make the adjustment.

I recently had my sprinkler system redone, and inevitably the spray from various heads needed to be fine tuned so I didn't water my driveway and patio, and also reached all the areas that I needed to. When the system was first installed and I watched the installer making initial adjustments, I asked how I could make adjustments in the future, because I knew they would be necessary. He said that no tool would work except what he called the "Hunter key", and said to give him a call for future adjustments (which of course would have meant future bills). Instead I found this tool on Amazon, watched some You Tube videos, and saved myself lots of money by making adjustments myself.

This tool does not come with any instructions, but you can easily learn what to do on You Tube. There is a plastic end and a metal end, each of which serve different functions (the plastic end is to adjust the arc; the metal end is to adjust the radius). Unfortunately you cannot buy this tool in your local hardware store or Home Depot or Lowes.

I actually found this tool listed for fifty cents on the internet--but the seller wanted $9.50 for shipping and handling. A classic ripoff. While this tool should really not cost more than fifty cents, paying a couple of dollars more on Amazon did not bother me because now I can easily fine tune my sprinkler heads. And I could not find this tool for less anyplace else.

Bottom line: This is easy to use, and will more than pay for itself the first time you use it.

his tooll allows you to do all maintenance of Hunter sprinkler heads - pull it up from the ground, adjust radius and arch, change nozzle. Very simple, yet very useful.

The plastic material of this tool is too weak (soft). I barely was able to adjust 2 sprinklers and the tool got damaged.

We recently had a sprinkler system installed, using Hunter sprinkler heads. The installer did a pretty good job of adjusting the heads, etc., but for fine tuning it takes too long for him to get out to our 25 mile from town home. These let me make those fine tuning adjustments as I see the need. By the way, it is the same tool that the pros use.

Not a whole lot to say. It works as advertised. Order one and got two, hence 5 stars.

Works like a charm - don't try anything else to adjust your Orbit brand sprinklers you may damage them! The bottom end is just a hx key and you could use any similar sized hex tool to adjust the spray, but the rotation adjustment has a differently shaped tool and its made out of plastic - if you go jamming a Philips head into your sprinkler you could damage that portion if you are not careful.

Simple tool but if you have Hunter sprinklers it's a must have to adjust the heads, Dont ruin your sprinklers by trying to use a screwdriver.
