Love this bathroom fan. So modern looking and quiet. Bought 4 of these to install in a bed and breakfast remodel and they are perfect for our updated bathrooms. Even the contractors commented on how much they loved them and how quiet they are. Saw them for $20 more at the big box stores. Thrilled to find them on-line at such a savings. Would highly recommend and would absolutely buy again.

Less than 1 inch clearance around perimeter/ceiling, so you can't see the bulbs. If you bend the tabs that prevent higher wattage bulbs (>60W), you can fit ~27W compact fluorescent bulbs (100 watt equivalents) without touching either the glass or the mount. I also installed the "Wall" brand timer switch Woods 59007 Decora Style 30-15-10-5 Minute Preset Wall Switch Timer, White, 30-Minute to save on heating cooling costs. That was an inexpensive and easy-to-use replacement for the old switch.

Note: the fan exhaust blows out horizontally, 4" diameter.

We have had this fan/light for over a year now. It is attractive. It has a nice low profile. You can't tell it is a fan. It is very quiet. It just doesn't cut it for fan power, though. I seriously doubt this fan produces 70 CFM. We have a bathroom that is 6 x 10 with a low ceiling (7 feet). The fan is in the very center of the room. It vents directly outdoors. When we shower it seems like there is no fan running at all there is so much steam build-up. The shower is a standard shower head in a bathtub. There is a curtain rod with ample space above the rod for steam to escape. I have gone outside to confirm that there is no blockage. I would strongly advise against getting this fan/light if you need a fan for anything other than evacuating the occasional subtle unpleasant smell.

Can fit with almost any decor, but ideally suited for the contemporary decor. I liked the fact that it can accept energy saving bulbs. No need for ballast or anything that can cost you more, down the road.

This light was easy to install and lights up the whole bathroom. The fan is quite too just wish it was wired so that the light and fan did not have to come on together.

Had spent several days browsing the net for a bathroom fan/light combo.
After reading and observing the Advertisment on Amazon for the "Hunter Exhaust Fan with Light" #81004 by Ventura and seeing that it was the correct size for fitting into the existing cut out that was for our old fan, I ordered it.
It arrived sooner than expected which was great.
It is now installed and works "Moocho Good"... We love it.... I installed a timer to automatically shut it off.
