Shiloh Walker has been writing since she was a kid... she fell in love with vampires with the book Bunnicula and has worked her way up to the more...ah... serious vampire stories. She loves reading and writing anything paranormal, anything fantasy, but most all anything romantic. Once upon a time, she worked as a nurse, but now she writes full time and lives with her family in the Midwest.

Byron & Kit:
Byron has known Kit since she was a small child, when he made a promise to take care of her as his own when her father died. Now she's grown up, and one of the strongest women he's ever known, standing by his side and helping him run his territory. She's also convinced they belong together. Of course Byron is stubborn. He thinks of his promise to Kit's father and refuses to get near her, even threatens to send her away. But if Byron sends her away, Kit is not coming back.....

Jonathan & Lori:
Jonathan has wanted Lori for the last seven years, since he first saw her. But he believes she's way too innocent for someone who's seen what he's seen, done what he's done. Yet Lori loves him, has been in love with him for as long as she's known him, and his rejection of her hurts. Lori is a witch, but unlike her sister, Sarel, she is a Healer, not a Warrior. Only she can't seem to heal what's in Jonathan's heart. Now Jonathan is marked by an old evil that wants to destroy them all. Byron's & Kit's story is a short but sweet taste of the Hunters, one that was very enjoyable. Jonathan's and Lori's journey is more bittersweet, filled with complex layers and emotions. We are given deeper glimpses into the personalities of many characters, and hints of what is to come in future stories. You'll find yourself moved to tears of sadness as well as happiness by the fate of these courageous and loyal beings. Being a Hunter is not always a happy life - it's hard and violent and bloody, but there's hope and love and honor to sustain them. Each story will leave you wanting more. Shiloh Walker has created a unique and intriguing world of magick, sensuality, and blood that is fierce and binding. Her writing keeps getting better and better, with added dimensions that keep you guessing as to what she'll think up next. Enjoy the ride.

If you love to read vampire erotica this series is a must. I like the way the author tells the story of the vampire and his mate. I am a reader of erotica and this book is a good read. I hope that she continues this story line. I will be the first in line to buy the next book she writes in this series and the bonus is you get two books in one binder.
