4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read
I haven't read much from Shiloh Walker. I enjoyed this story. I always like a protective alpha male! ;o) I like the fact that she brings us into what has happened in the past in the heroine's history and walks us through how she is dealing with it. Thanks for the good story. Will look at more from this author.

2.0 out of 5 stars the blurb was the best part
Hunter's Pride had the potential to be a good short shifter story, unfortunately it was too blah to have any steam and the only reason i finished the book at all was because i hate to leave a book unfinished. The story line provided a good start but the writing wasn't the best and the end result left me wishing i hadn't started the book in the first place...

Kennedy was assaulted by her stepfather when she was only a teenager, she ran as far and as fast as she could but he caught up to her in a forest. When he was about to kill her something stopped him, she couldnt be sure but she thought it was a huge cat/cougar but the memory of that day has always been fuzzy. Now years later she has come home after her foster parents have died and is trying to find out what happened.

Duncan Pride was there the night Kennedy was attacked, he still remembers her after all these years and now that she's back she's starting problems for him and his Pride. Being the alpha he's in charge of making sure everyone is safe and that their secret is never revealed but he soon learns that Kennedy is more then a problem to him, she's his mate. And when she's threatend he'll kill whoever he has to to keep her safe.

Boring!!! To short. I didn't feel a real connection between the couple. Read it and see for yourself. Good thing it was only two dollars.
