Best Value Caller on the market, November 16, 2010
I tried this caller yesterday. I went hunting alone to a ranch in Sonora, Mexico.
I really wanted to see if it worked, but my expectations were low. I didn't expect to hunt the first time I used it.
For the few dollars it costs, it works great.
You can't really expect more reach than the 50 yards as advertised.
And you don't need it. I started calling for abaout an hour, and then a very big bobcat (gato salvaje) came and passed just 5 yards from me, and stayed there for a minute with his full attention caught on the caller.
He didn't even looked at me, as his attention was on the caller, and my kid's stuffed bunny I placed on top of the caller.
When he was between me and the caller, I shot, succesfully, the bobcat.
1 shot, 1 kill, 1 caller, 1 stuffed bunny, the first time I tried it.
I now know that if the bobcat was attracted to it, mountain lions, coyotes and other predators will come too.
Recommended item...... I know there are others better, but they cost 2,3, or more times this one.

1/2 an hour one less coyote., June 8, 2010
We live in the woods, we have about 30 to 50 cats around the property. Some cats been missing. I seen a coyote. I ordered this call. The next day after it arrived. I setup back of the cutting area. Put it on cottontail.. 30 minutes later we had one less coyote to worry about. works like charm. good on fox also. will stick to this type calling from now on. You not only have less work on yourself, you can make sure your away from the calling area. those yotes just have to see what's making the sounds!

quiet but great, January 22, 2011
This caller has excellent sound. Each of the 5 calls sound sharp and realistic, and because they "loop" for long periods of time, you don't have to spend a lot of time pressing buttons. The remote is great, as it allows you to both do away with wires and get some distance from the caller in your hunting setup. There are two negatives. One, if you are running the caller with the remote and are some distance from the main unit, you cannot adjust volume remotely (the adjustments are only on the unit). You've just got to pick your volume and stay with it until you decide to get up and walk over to the unit. The other negative is that even though the caller has a built-in speaker, it's not very powerful. Unless you're hunting on a very calm day, the speaker is too quiet to broadcast sound any real distance. I plug mine into the Cass Creek Bighorn speaker, and problem solved. You can get crows' attention from a mile away. Despite the volume/speaker issues, I give this caller a top rating due to its great sound and good value.
