I tried this caller yesterday. I went hunting alone to a ranch in Sonora, Mexico.
I really wanted to see if it worked, but my expectations were low. I didn't expect to hunt the first time I used it.
For the few dollars it costs, it works great.
You can't really expect more reach than the 50 yards as advertised.
And you don't need it. I started calling for abaout an hour, and then a very big bobcat (gato salvaje) came and passed just 5 yards from me, and stayed there for a minute with his full attention caught on the caller.
He didn't even looked at me, as his attention was on the caller, and my kid's stuffed bunny I placed on top of the caller.
When he was between me and the caller, I shot, succesfully, the bobcat.
1 shot, 1 kill, 1 caller, 1 stuffed bunny, the first time I tried it.

I now know that if the bobcat was attracted to it, mountain lions, coyotes and other predators will come too.

Recommended item...... I know there are others better, but they cost 2,3, or more times this one.

I bought this caller for my father's birthday (which was yesterday). Here in Western PA, the coyotes can be hard to see sometimes, let alone kill. We've had luck with mouth calls, electronic calls, and shooting them on the occasional lucky sighting. Regardless, after receiving it, my father took it out tonight to try it out, and within about an hour had shot a big black one. He had set up the caller about 50 yards away from his position and placed a stuffed animal beside the speaker...the coyote never even saw him.

He already owned an electronic caller, but it was bulky, relied on cassette tapes and a heavy battery pack. It was a pain to lug around and set up. This caller is lightweight, handy, and it runs on simple AA batteries. It's not exceptionally loud, but it also won't unnerve the coyotes by blasting them with loud squawking.

I give it five stars. A solid value for the money.

We live in the woods, we have about 30 to 50 cats around the property. Some cats been missing. I seen a coyote. I ordered this call. The next day after it arrived. I setup back of the cutting area. Put it on cottontail.. 30 minutes later we had one less coyote to worry about. works like charm. good on fox also. will stick to this type calling from now on. You not only have less work on yourself, you can make sure your away from the calling area. those yotes just have to see what's making the sounds!

Ok I'm not trying to make this product like bad but listen I been hunting coyotes for about 8 years and shot a lot a lot of coyotes but this caller doesn't put enough sound out in the woods. The coyotes can't hear it from 400 yards away. I took my little cousin out with me and he bought one of this callers and I let him use it too test it out and it sucks noise gets muffled , so we used my call what is a alpha dog caller with 113 calls on it and we shot 2 coyotes with that

I am very impressed with this electronic caller. I took it out first night and had great results, not to mention its middle of summer here in western Oklahoma and still in the 90's at 9:00PM. I used all the calls (Predator 2) except for the fawn. The one that got the coyotes attention was the pup distress then he didn't seem interested so I then went to cottontail, and this did the trick. He was hooked and came within 50 yards. Great product. Only reason I didnt rate it a 5 is because it's not that loud! Good for the money!

As I was trying to lure coyotes on a budget, I thought I'd give this a try. I had little success and was dismayed by the volume and range of the unit.
Would either practice more and spend more or forget the whole enterprise. Others around my area I spoke with believe the local "prairie wolves" have wised up to many of the artificial attractors and are not as susceptible due to hunting pressure in the area and the wide use of similar items. In some other area, this "attractor" may work well. In my numerous expeditions I could tell no effect, perhaps due as much to the huntee as the hunted. The unit did function as advertised, but was unable to tell if it actually "worked".

Sounds great as far as the sounds go...haven't had much chance to try it....will be trying soon....hope to attract some coyotes....My grandson tried this for the first time the other day...as soon as he turned it on here comes a coyote...One less coyote...I still haven't had a chance to really work it....but the results are seemingly good...love the remote feature too...for the price can't complain so far

It came when they said. It did have dead batteries, however they very quickly resolved that issue. I love the size. I will have to see if it will call in the coyotes, but it has been everything they said it was. GREAT service! I gave it a 4 because it has not called in the coyotes, although it has only been used twice, we will see if it will bring the animals in.

These calls are compact but dont let that fool you the sound gets out there and brings those dogs in. Its so light weight I keep it in my pack and its like its not even there. Who needs to spend 150 to 400 on a call thats big and heavy when this little guy gets the same results and is less of a hassle to take out in the field.
