Allen and Uncle Mike's make similar products sold here. I came to Hunter's Specialties through one of their holsters. It was a great buy at a very reasonable price. I live near a military base. Finding these in stock in stores is nearly impossible. I was very impressed that I could get one delivered for less than I'd pay locally. The stock sleeve itself is fairly stiff elastic. The bands clamp the shells down securely and are uniformly spaced. I passed the sleeve over a Benelli Nova to test for a fit but it rests on the Mossberg 590 now. The smooth texture didn't mar my wood gun on a hunt (Browning Gold) but I feel better about it on a synthetic stock (no worry of moisture trapping). The sleeve is washable, by the way, and should be washed to keep dirt from trapping in it and abrading the stock. While I wear a shell belt for some hunting, this is the perfect way to carry a few shells for a quick reload or to switch from slugs to buckshot (or turkey shot when both are in season) or, where I live, when crossing county lines hunting deer.

Put this shell holder on my Remington 870 Express 12 gauge. Fits perfect, the shells are easy to insert but stay in slots well. High quality material, very satisfied with this purchase.

A great value at around $5. This fit mt 870 Synthetic butt stock pretty tight. I put it on and marked where the swivel sticks out and marked the area with a piece of chalk. Then I took an old soldering iron tip an sharpened it with a file. Cranked on the soldering iron until hot and cut a hole for the swivel stud. Works like a hot knife. No frays or unravels.

Buy it. Nice product to keep extra shells at hand and looks great too. I tried brands from local box store and they had to be modified to fit tapered stock on gun. This Amazon product fit perfectly without modification.

This product came as it was described in the advertisement. Be careful to make sure you order for the gun you are purchasing it for. I nearly purchased it for a rifle when I wanted a shotgun shell holder.

This looks great on my all black supernova and it fits snug as a bug holding all the shells perfectly. Adds a whole new dimension to the gun. Worth every single dime. You will not be disappointed.

very simple and fits almost any stock. holds my 12ga shells real snug and comes out really clean no tugging what so ever. very happy with product especially the price for it. cant go wrong.

The black elastic sleeve fits perfectly over the stock of my Browning 12-gauge shotgun. The holder fits five 12-gauge shells safely and securely within easy reach for reload. And it's reversible, so you can keep the shells on the left or the right side of the stock.

It holds the shells well but on my Mossberg 500 after a few shots it starts to slide down the stock and bunch up around the stock at the handle. Great for having extra rounds at hand but don't keep it on if your going skeet shooting or to the range. It will just keep moving and get annoying.

Great item, but not for .410 shotgun shells.
The holder was loose on the butt stock of my .410 shotgun
and the shells can fall out.
Once the novelty of shooting this shotgun wears off I'll
put it on my 12 guage . . . still a bargain.
I can remedy the current situation and still make use of it on
my other guns.
Since it did not specify which size shotgun it would fit well
on I took the chance it might work, okay, I goofed, I'll make
the best of a not so good guess and modify it. Always have a backup plan.
