This review is from: Hunting With Richthofen: The Bodenschatz Diaries : Sixteen Months of Battle With J.G. Freiherr Von Richthofen (Hardcover)
Jan Hayzlett's translation of the Bodenschatz diaries give incomparable insight into sixteen months that helped set the stage for the next seventy-one years. Kudos to Jan Hayzlett for tackling the original old German script(not fun) and emerging victorious with an unputdownable narrative. I especially enjoyed seeing l0 Striegauerstrasse unshot at in the safety of my home.......Thank you. I share Jan Hayzlett's fascination with Germany and the Richthofens and find her book an invaluable contribution to understanding the far-from-satisfactorily explained events of April 21, l9l8. Got any more books like this in the works?
