Comprehensive and well written. Covers the big picture. Has lots of detail on the tactics of hunting big bucks. Very informative on the behavior of these animals. This is an excellent single source for the subject. I learned a lot even though I've successfully hunted deer for over 25 years. Mr Morris is an effective spokesman on the issue of hunting and he should continue to attempt to enlighten the "undecided majority" between those for and against hunting. Could someone tell me how much of this book is covered in the " Advanced Strategies for Trophy Whitetails" by this author?

This a great book, for trophy hunters and novice alike. Full of useful information and strategy, the authors enthusiam comes right through the pages. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves hunting whitetails.

This is the book that has made the biggest differnence in my hunting success. Its not for the average deer hunter. Its for the serious Whitetail hunter willing to travel far and spend $$$. It's written primarly for the rifle hunter although most of the hunt reasearch info crosses over. It covers all aspects of trophy hunting. Deer behaivor, scouting , travel ,hunting technique,even equiptment. If your ready to travel, hunt hard, and spend the $$$ this book will take you there.

If you are a big buck fanatic, then you must have this book! I have read many deer hunting books on chasing trophy deer, but this book sets the standard and is a "must read" for the serious big buck hunter. David Morris is one of the best hunters and authors on the subject that I have ever read. I find myself going back and re-reading chapters from time to time, as it is definately a book to go back to. His experiences and harvests make him quite an authority on the subject from his lifetime pursuits and career path.
