This is a great game overall. Its graphics are good as is the sound. Its realistic and has a lot of features. It doesn't come with a booklet to explain directions and stuff like that but there are tutorials for the controls and how to play the game. People say its a lot like Hunting Unlimited 2008 but I'm not sure because this is my first Hunting Unlimited game. But I would recomend this game to people who like great realistic hunting games.

The 2009 version is merely an estension of the 2008 version. Same hunts, just added a few more. The negative out of the way, I was hooked on the 2008 version and just replayed some to open up the additional levels. Just as fun the second time around. The most exciting part is when I had my four year old and a six year old granddaughters on each side of me squeezing my arms because of the silly music warning me of danger and then having to wipe the little fingerprints off of my laptop after they tried to warn me where the bear or cougar was. The screaming in my ear, "Grampa, Grampa! He's over there!" may sound negative, but to a grandpa, it's another sort of music. It's extremely difficult to move the mouse when the arm is being squeezed. Thanks for writing a fun game.

After spending a few hours going through some of the tutorials, I finally feel like I have a clue how the controls work. It would have been nice to have a book or guide to show the controls. I feel the mouse movement is alittle too touchy. A slight movement and you are looking at the sky. Other than that I believe this is going to make an awesome game. My daughter loves it.

Ordered this to replace my Hunting Unlimited 2008. After ordering I downloaded a trial version and found that there is not a big difference compared to 2008. Sort of like closing the barn door after the horse already got out, lol. Wish I had not ordered it but tryed to cancel - it was to late - had already been shipped.
Don't get me wrong - it is a great PC game for the hunting enthusiast and have had many hours of fun hunting experiences. So if you have never played it, by all means order but don't buy to replace Hunting Unlimited 2008.

An extensive and challenging game. However, outside of game controls, there are no instructions as how to play the game. If it was not for information obtained in forums, I would have been at a complete loss.

Enjoyed the game, but a few glitches. NO "Save" games. In "Challenges" weapon list shows a choice, but usually goes back to default. Some "Challenges" scenarios never saw any animals to "Tag" or spending mostly walking or driving. Some shots show CLEARLY hit the animal on head but narrator announces "Body".

Got this game as a first shooter game for my daughter. the graphic are very well done and the animal reactions are very realistic. this is a good way to introduce your little hunter to shooting and tracking and it is also a good start for the little gamer too. Its fun for the big ones as well.

The color and graphics are just fine especially considering the medium range price of the game. It is a little slow at times, but once the hunt is on, it is fun. I like the "camera following bullet" feature and also the ability to click and continue shooting if you care not to follow the entire flight of the shot. Leaving the "dangerous animal" feature on makes it challenging as you must watch out for these guys to do you in from your blind side. Overall, for the price, a fun game.

The price was right and shipment was quick. Perhaps my computer doesn't have the ram to run it at best performance levels. We have Vista and sometimes the run feature is slow, the shooting of the gun is hesitant, and once in awhile it will not let us go forward but moves the hunter sideways. It is still fun and we use it quite frequently. The options of places to hunt are many as are the types of animals, etc. Our grandkids have the same game so we wanted it for our computer, especially when they visit.

A great time to be had hunting all kinds of game with all kinds of weapons....rifles, shotguns, pistols and bows. Realistic from many points of view...dangerous wildlife actually take you out of the game if you're not careful and alert.
Very much worth the price.
