Color Name: Double-D® serrated edge blade with Classic Dark Brown handle (often referred to as "black")
This knife has the sharpest factory edge available.

The "Double D" serrations melt right through the toughest hide like a freakin' light saber. It also holds an edge very well through multiple deer dressings.

The blade length and profile are perfect for big game, and the knife and sheath are breathtakingly beautiful.

HOWEVER, the first time you slip and ding the knife on a metal gut bucket the edge will be wrecked, and you'll be cussing 'cause you have to send it back to the factory for sharpening. It's free, you just pay shipping, but I really prefer a knife that I can sharpen myself.

Also the blade is thin 440 steel and the handle is plastic, so it seems grossly overpriced (mine was 170 dollars delivered). The factory's probably turning these out for 30-40 bucks.

For a task specific tool this is a great knife, but not the hard core, easily maintainable blade that most hunters require.

This particular knife is available for less than $200 through an actual Cutco representative. I know because I have been one for 3 years now. This is ridiculously over-priced!!!! The knife is amazing though and I love mine.
