  • Hurom's newest, most advanced masticating juicer utilizes patented Slow Squeezing TechnologyTM (SST) to extract 35% more juice from your foods than with traditional high-speed juicers, leaving less and drier pulp.
  • Slow Squeezing TechnologyTM by Hurom gently squeezes ingredients, preserving natural taste & nutrients lost by high-speed juicers that grind and crush. Slow juicing also retains heat-sensitive nutrients such as Vitamins A and C, and live enzymes.
  • The Hurom Titanium masticating juicer can easily process fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, wheatgrass, nuts, and soy to make a variety of juices, milks, sauces, marinades, even baby food.
  • Hurom's titanium finish and elegant lines add sophistication to your kitchen while the powerful motor's near-silent operation uses only 150 watts of energy and is backed by a 10-year warranty.
  • The cold-press juicer features a heavy-duty Ultem® strainer and auger, which is eight times stronger than traditional plastics and handles both coarse and fine foods easily.

Product Description

When served as juice rather than when eaten raw, the absorption rate of vitamins and nutrients is 4X higher in juice form compared to raw form. The Hurom Titanium Masticating Slow Juicer squeezes not only nutrients but also seeds & skin to preserve the four essential nutrients which most of the population is lacking, to prevent various diseases including cancer. Hurom takes fruits & vegetables in their raw form, presses them through patented Slow Squeezing TechnologyTM (SST), then separates puree from juice. Drinking Hurom juice provides essential nutrients & energy in one of the most efficient means. The efforts to preserve nature in its fullest form have paid off, as the Hurom masticating juicer has become one of the "must have" appliances to keep all family members healthy & fully energized. The innovative Slow Squeezing TechnologyTM (SST) is a first of its kind, exclusive extraction technology from Hurom. Hurom's patented masticating juicer technology is designed to gently squeeze ingredients without grinding or overheating them to preserve natural taste, while retaining the highest percentage of nutrients of any juice extractor on the market. Unlike other mixers or juicers, Hurom slow juicers utilize an Ultem auger which rotates at a slow rate but does not inflict any frictional heat or shock to ingredients.

I had the Huron HU-100 ($299) juicer but after a part broke, took it back and decided to upgrade to the Titanium version. I love the coloring and its a much better design than the HU-100. But what it makes up for in look, it loses in performance. There are a few items that left me frustrated with this model.

1. Juice Container - Its the same mold as used for the lower models, but it doesn't fit up against the titanium edge correctly. This means that when juice is falling, it is almost missing the container. Once or twice I've bumped it or not slide it all the way and realized my juice was pouring behind the container and onto the counter. Huron should have offered a new design for the containers that fit up to the edge of the body.

2. The mouth to feed is smaller than the HU-100. This means it takes more time to cut veggies smaller in order to fit into the hole.

3. I was surprised, but it doesn't created as much juice as the HU-100. I juice the same things every day (bag of carrots and a box of prepacked beets. I then pour the juice into a glass container that I drink at work. The HU-100 would fill it up. The titanium only gets it to about 70-80% full. This is with the exact same amount of veggies.

4. When washing the pieces, the bottom of the juicer bowl has a different frame that collects more water than the HU-100. This means it collects water and is the last item in my dishwasher to ever dry.

5. When juicing carrots. This juicer seems to get stuck much more than the HU-100.

In the end, I was hoping for a better juicer for the extra $100 but really didnt find any advantage besides the cool looking outer shell. If the HU-100 came in black, I would have purchased that instead.

Great juicer! well if your like me, your willing to pay a little more if you want your juicer to do what they are soposed to do:

Extract the most out of anything your juice leaving little to no pulp, and to do this without destorying the nutirents and live enzymes in the food!

well it did the job but here is some pros and cons:

1. i juiced about 6 apples, 2 oz of mushrooms, 1 beet head, 1 1/2 stalk of celery, 1 small head of broccoli, two thumb sized ginger roots, and about 5 oz of cilantro. i got about 64 oz of juice (pitcher size), and about 26 oz of pulp.

2. pulp was very dry and i use it occasionally as plant fertilizer, some people mix it in with hamburger meat but im a bit skeptical about the taste of that lol!

3. self cleaning, at the end of juicing run some water through it and it gets like 80% clean just one more rinse on kitchen sink and done!

4. its Quiet! if your like me i juice any time be it 7 am or 11 pm! so i love the fact that i dont disturb my roommates with this juicer.

5. cord is long enough where the length dose'nt get annoying? is that a pro? for me it is i guess.

1. well like another review said the container that collects the juice barely reaches the chute, buuut it gets in there so i dont complain about that. i care about the final product.

2. this one is quite annoying actually :p the little chute that the pulp goes through, its kind of annoying to get all the little crumbs out, they need to improve on this -__-

3. since i paid a pretty penny for this, and i have roommates, i wash, dry and store the juicer in a bag so it stays clean, and i stash it in my room, aaand this guy is about 10 pounds.

4. yes i paid 400.

We recently bought a Hurom Slow Juicer from your representative at Malaysia. Recently, being on November 10, 2013. The orange strainer, have stopped working. The parts no longer fit and we can see that the bottom seems to be polished by the juicer (the circular black part in the middle). We brought it to a reseller, who told us that the orange strainer is not actually to be used.

We were then directed to call the representative in a different part of the country, who insisted it was our fault (because the orange strainer was not supposed to be used anyways!) Is that strainer just decorative? Are we just supposed to use the black fine strainer? The video did not tell us that the orange strainer was for decorative purposes only. Bottom line is, we should not have used to orange strainer. It was our fault for using the strainer. The warranty does not include using the strainer? We could complain, but there was nothing anyone will do.

We could, however, get a new filter for RM170, after which I assume it would keep polishing plastic to be included into our drinks. But I digress.

The product have been super efficient and easy to use (until today when it stopped working). We paid good money for the product and expect it to continue working, though.

We could just stick to using the black strainer (for both soft and harder fruits) and use the orange strainer as a decorative item in our living room. But I would like to believe that the warranty is not a decorative item as well and we would be reimbursed as such.

I will edit and let you know if they get back to me.
