About the Author
Author Sonja Bentley Zant is a former marketing and technical writer with a passion for storytelling. She started her own writing business in 2001 and quickly established herself as a top freelance professional, specializing in biotech writing and technical documentation. But Sonja's love of laughter and connecting with women on a deeper level inspired her to leave her lucrative business behind and start working on Hurricane Season - her first novel - in the summer of 2005. This fall, Sonja launched Hurricane Season and is incredibly pleased with the early response to her message of living a life with clearly defined nonnegotiables. In addition, Sonja is the stepmother to two grown boys - Joey, 24, and Jordan, 18.
