About the Author
As the daughter of an air force pilot, Karen Bjorneby grew up in various parts of the United States and Europe. She studied social thought at the University of California at Irvine. Her short fiction has appeared in various literary quarterlies and received a special mention in the Pushcart Prize vol. XXIV; her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Iris, Literal Latté, JAMA, and The Threepenny Review. Karen lives in San Francisco where she is working on a novel.
