French for older toddlers,
By
This review is from: Hurry Up, Molly/Depeche-Toi, Molly (I Can Read Series) (Hardcover)
This book, like the others, is well-written, and it's no secret that I'm a fan.
This particular book is more appropriate for older toddlers who can appreciate more of the intangible words; what I mean is that rather than a slew of nouns and simple adjectives, there are more words that are intangibles, such as laughing/riant, which are harder to communicate through the book's format -- what's a picture of laughing look like? Or a smell/odeur? I recommend working your way up from the simpler stories if you're starting young, and then add these older toddler books in as your child's language skills develop (or as your child gets bored!). |
