Let's face it, romance novels are fantasyland, bless them, that's why we read them. This novel is no exception!

The characters are likeable, the premise of the committment-phobic bloke (who hasn't met one of them, often at the age of 50, wearing a toupee, sucking in his tummy, scanning the horizon with desperate eyes)is well handled, if a little overdone toward the end.

The one aspect of this story which is a freshing change, is that the main character, Zack, is not a millionaire, billionaire or wealthy executive/heart surgeon/lawyer, but a young man struggling to get his one-person ad agency off the ground. Of course, he is gorgeous - has there ever been a romance novel where the hero is not? - but I forgave him for that and accepted the plot for what it is meant to be - a fun and non-demanding read.

Another fun read from Rita Herron! What single girl doesn't want to take a class on landing a husband? (And where was that curriculum when I was hunting a thousand years ago?) Fun, light and sexy, the book is a great escape from whatever stress is bogging you down. Don't miss out!

Then stop right here. Rita Herron delivers! When a sexy lingerie store owner goes on the hunt for a man, the tie-wearing executive doesn't stand of chance of escaping. He ditches his suit and loses his heart in this sexy read that is perfect for an afternoon or evening of leisure. Rita's stories whether a comedy or a suspense never fail to reach the heart!

This is a great beach read. A lovely blend of humor and romance that kept me turning the pages. It had me laughing on the first page!I squirmed with Jenna at some of the weird guys on her husband-hunting course and sympathised with Zack as he faced up to his feelings. I always love to watch a commitment phobic bachelor fall in love. Beautifully done!

A catchy title and an eyecatching cover, "Husband Hunting 101" is laugh out loud funny from the first chapter till the end. Jenna Barrett, a lingerie store owner hired Zachary West, an advertising whiz to create a new ad campaign for her business. As the two inadvertently mixed business with pleasure the ad campaign became a love campaign. But, the question is who is the "campaigner" and who is the "campaignee"?

Hilarious, funny and hard to put down, "Husband Hunting 101" reminds us that love truly makes the world go round and there is no stopping true love.

This is the second book from Rita Herron that I have read. Though I like both books, "Husband Hunting 101" is definitely better told than "Here Comes the Bride"

This is by far the worst romance I have ever read. I forced myself to read the entire book. (I wish I could have that time back). The main character has a hearing disability. I wish I'd known that. This was more a romance/lesson on that disability. I don't mean to be politically incorrect, but it's so poorly written, I found myself bored hearing about it. The steamy scenes are sooooo not steamy, however I think my grandmother might approve. If I had to say something nice, it would be the cover, it pulled me in. Darn that cover! If you like Harlequins from the early-early days, this is a book for you.

Jenna Barrett, who owns a lingerie store. She is very sweet, beautiful, sexy and single woman, who wants to get married and have a family as soon as possible.

Zack, who owns his own ad agency that he's trying to build up. He is very handsome, ambitious, personable and sweet but he is determined that he will absolutely never marry.

Jenna meets Zack at his brother's wedding and his brother, Mark, suggests to Jenna that Zack design her new ads. When they get together, they are irresistibly drawn to each other and Zack's crises with his terror of commitments begins.

Jenna takes classes in husband hunting 101 hoping to find the perfect husband, only to be surrounded by some real loser's. She's so drawn to Zack, but does everything in her power to fight that attraction knowing that he has stated more then once, that he never intends to marry.

Zack keeps putting off drawing up plans for her add, but he does draw a few steamy scenes that he's conjured up in his own head concerning Jenna. But...the steamy scenes he's drawn up isn't anything he can use in her add campaign. A few of those pictures get into the wrong hands purely by accident, witch in up causing Zack some really big problems. The man who wants to use them for his add has some major bucks and Zack doesn't want to loose the account. But...at the same time, he knows if he does use them, he'll end up loosing Jenna and she means more to him then any add campaign.

This was a fantastic book. Zack was hilarious, with his physical symptoms and nervousness. I loved him. The engagement scene is something you could never imagine happening.

The story was cute, predictable, but entertaining. A little hard to read through. Several times words were just missing from sentences. A 'no' can make a big difference in a sentence! Also, Zack became Jack a few too many times. It would have been more of a page turner if I hadn't had to go back and decide for myself what the sentence was supposed to be. Not sure if this was poor writing, poor editing, or just the digital copy. Hard to get past but once you do it is a fun enough read.
