I bought Husbands at a local book store without having read any reviews about it before, I just like the back cover description. It pleased me much more that I expected! This is the story of a young woman happily married and living in London. Her husband is quite wealthy (no Greek tycoon or Arab millionaire just enough to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle) and she spends her time between gym, coffee with her 2 best friends and of course shopping. This perfect harmony though is shattered when one of her best friends, who is a single mother, starts dating a new guy, an Elvis impersonator, and happily introduces him to her friends. Unfortunately, this man just happens to be the heroine's husband (notice there is no ex- here). They grew up in the same city and got married while in university. The thing is that although they've been apart for ages, they never filed for a divorce. And now that they've found each other again, neither of them is sure they want one after all...

This is a very very humorous book that will take you in a ride you don't want to end. On the other hand there are serious issues like single motherhood (both the heroine's friends are raising their children alone, though one did not have any choice in it as her husband tragically died), loyalty between friends and growing up to realize what YOU want from life. This book was so exciting I couldn't let it down as there were so many twists I couldn't be sure who will end up with whom until the very end. It is chick lit but it has the most unusual story I've ever heard of and the story flowed fast enough to keep me on edge all the time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
