BASED ON A TRUE STORY!!!!,

This review is from: My Husband's Double Life (DVD)
I just found out that the husband who pretended to commit suicide in this movie..and then moved to a new city to start a new family actually lives in my city! The real woman who this is movie is based on was just interviewed on 48 hours. Although the news story I saw was only a short segment..this was a full-length movie on this lady's life and....WOW...what she had to go through! This is a great movie if you feel like becoming totally involved in a really enjoyable drama.

I just bought this movie and it is exellent!! I like most of all Lifetime movies but I have never seen this one on television but it is really one of the very best movies on Lifetime. It should be shown more often and you will not get bored at all with this film. Highly recommended drama!

Given the type of movies Lifetime normally airs, "My Husband's Double Life" is not breaking new ground (I can recall three movies with the same plotline). All that means is that the storyline of the lying, deceiving husband, while cliche (and somewhat sexist, IMHO), still works. Good acting by Margaret Colin and the very creepy but powerful Jay O. Sanders makes this an entertaining film.
