This is a great album, an interesting extension of his earlier work. The tunes here are more robust, more succinct-less atmospheric than what has come before. If you like this, definitely check out the older stuff, particularly Under Bent Limbed Trees, and (if you can find it!) Landscape of Bone. One thing about Amazon's listing; the song samples here are not for the album listed, but for his older self titled album.

This is a brilliant Album, as I listen to it I can't help but feel that if the members of the band Cream had been born forty years later...they would be making music like this.
