Architect Levi Holt is stunned by the sudden death of his seemingly healthy twenty-six-year-old sister Ruth from an aneurysm. His shock multiplies when he learns that Ruth wants Levi to raise her child, who is not even six months old. 3.0 out of 5 stars Great ending...
I've read some of Judith Arnold's other books, and I have to tell you-this one kind of disappointed me. The storyline just drags on and on and on... I had to skim over maybe 75 pages just to get to the good parts! I thought Corrine was very cold-hearted. I mean, I know she loves the baby, but just because Levi wants to do the right thing doesn't mean she has to give up...

This review is from: Hush, Little Baby: The Daddy School (Harlequin Superromance No. 979) (Paperback)
Architect Levi Holt is stunned by the sudden death of his seemingly healthy twenty-six-year-old sister Ruth from an aneurysm. His shock multiplies when he learns that Ruth wants Levi to raise her child, who is not even six months old. Not familiar with an infant, Levi reluctantly agrees to abide by his beloved sibling's wishes and raise Darren as his own.

At the direction of her boss, a client of Levi's, Corrine Lanier visits the highly regarded architect in his Arlington, Connecticut office. However, business is placed on hold as Levi deals with Darren's need, as he has learned from attending the daddy School. As Levi and Corrine begin to fall in love, the baby's father surfaces demanding Darren be given to him. Corrine who wants to believe that Levi is her soul mate becomes irate with him when he seems ready to hand over guardianship of Darren to the father. If as it seems likely he loses custody of Darren, will Levi also lose his beloved Corrine too?

HUSH, LITTLE BABY is an amusing novel starring a newborn as a matchmaker. The story line is fun just as all the books in this series have been. The lead couple is a warm duet googling over Darren. Fans of humorous contemporary romances will want to read the story of Judith Arnold's latest Daddy School graduate and some of the alumni membership (see 'TIS THE SEASON).

Which is why the ending came as such a mixture of shock AND predictability. Very endearing read, though, I had to admit. Levi and Corrine's Story got off to a VERY interesting start, and ends the same way! Happy reading!! :)
