I purchased this for my grandson who "loves" horses. His parents read it to him each nite before going to bed. The pictures are wonderful.

The perfect bedtime story! Gentle rhyme and absolutely beautiful illustrations of horse mamas and their foals bedding down for the night. Grow sleepy as each mama encourages her little one to drift to sleep while the rhyme repeats (with some variation) inducing a peaceful, secure feeling. - Biblio Reads Children's Book Review

I got this book from the library and just had to buy it for my daughter who loves horses. The illustrations are beautiful with all of our favorite horse breeds and a lovely, motherly, message to boot.

I had taken this book out of the library with my 3 year old granddaughter. We both loved it! Was so happy to find it at Amazon - and, of course, it was cheaper than anywhere else. I also purchased a cute lil stuffed pony to go with it. It's a Xmas gift for her & her mommy.

I got this for my 2 year old daughter for her birthday since she loves horses. I absolutely love reading her this book. She loves the pictures.

A very sweet book. We borrowed it from the library, and now here I am at Amazon buying it to keep. Even my husband came downstairs from storytime the other night and said, "Hey, did you get to read them that horsie book? It's really nice!"
