These shoes felt comfortable from the beginning. The strap is perfectly placed for feeling secure on my foot.

I bought these as an 8 Wide so that I can wear them during my pregnancy (I am normally a 7.5 or an 8) and they were way too tight. I thought the 'wide' actually meant that the shoe would, I don't know, be wider than a normal size 8. I decided to keep the shoes anyway since they were priced okay. My hope is that the swelling in my feet with go down so that I could wear them. Also, it would have been nice if you could adjust the strap even MORE. There isn't enough velcro to make it super-loose. Oh well. Cute shoe though.

Love these shoes. They're perfect for walking around, doing errands or going out. These shoes are cute and practical. The fit is true to size. The color is not really red, but a bit more muted. Worth the purchase.

One year later I am still wearing them. They are even more comfortable now. They look so good, my sister wants a pair. I sure hope they are still availabe/

I wear, in almost all of my shoes a true 9 these shoes were only available in a 9.5 so I figured well they'd be a little roomy but for the price I could live with it. Boy was I wrong!
They were so tight, the worst part being the top that cut into the top of my foot. Then thinking since they were leather perhaps I just needed to stretch them a bit I wore them about the house, after only a few short hours I had blisters and the inside of the sole was coming out the shoe.
So not only were they uncomfortable they were cheaply made as well. They're getting sent back.

I didn't believe the reviews I read about these shoes being too narrow. I did, however, order them in wide just in case. Even in wide these shoes are incredibly narrow! I don't this problem could be fixed with ordering up. It's just a fundamental design flaw.

I am very pleased with the shoes they are extremely comfortable and love the bow on the strap....I made a great choice with them... Anne

Hush puppies have alway represented comfort and style in shoes, and the Mary Jane line are no exception. Totally comfortable for the shape of our feet and fashionable--what more can you ask?!!

i received the product and immediately realized that they were too small; they were cut for an adolescent with big feet. i have been an ardent amazon customer for about 10 years and had never returned anything. however this time these shoes were not at all what i had imagined. usually less than satisfactory items could be potentially gifts but not these. i immediately packed them up, walked to the post office from work paid some hefty amount since i wanted it registered because i had never done this before and did not know where they were going exactly. now it has been more than a month and i have yet heard anything back. so my dismay is two fold: am i going to get my money back? it is much easier to buy a product than it is to return--particularly on line. for now i have lost my appetite for shopping on line.
