I just purchased this product 2 days ago for my 8 week old son. From what I can see, he truly loves his hammock and sleeps so comfortably when he is in it. I just bundle/swaddle him up and put him in the hammock. It swings ever so gently as if he was floating in water. It blends well with modern decor. If you are more of the traditionalist, you also have an option of purchasing the "Okoa" or European beech wood stand. The overall height of the stand was shorter than I imagined. The hammock is also closer to the ground and not as high as I thought.

I did a little research before my purchase and found that there are not too many pictures and videos of the hammock from consumers. So I decided to put some of mine. Overall, I feel that it is a lot safer than the other hammocks on the market. The design of the hammock and stand makes it that it's difficult for the hammock to tilt to one side just like the "kanoe" hammock and although it is not obvious through pictures, the hammock itself bounces with its unique spring like system which they call "leafspring"--rubber, hanger like tether that attaches to the hammock.

The price of the hammock was what concerned me at first but you really do get what you pay for. Too bad I"m not having anymore babies, wish it was around when my daughter was born. I definitely recommend this product to any parent who wants their child as well as themselves to get a good night sleep. I hope this review helps in deciding the right hammock for you and your little one.

We chose to use the Hushamok Dream in our room instead of a bassinet. We had the Hushamok before the baby was born and did not realize what a good decision that ended up being! Our baby has reflux and needs to be at an angle with his head elevated. This position is so easy to achieve with the Hushamok just by positioning the baby slightly lower from the top. I also find he sleeps better in the Hushamok since it moves slightly with his own movement, essentially rocking himself to sleep. I also liked the all organic cotton, no fumes or smells. Finally, I like how portable it is! So easy to pack to see the in-laws for Thanksgiving! So glad to have the Hushamok and have recommended to a couple of my friends who are expecting!

We purchased this item, and we're more than pleased! It was remarkably easy to assemble, and has been a great help in our baby's sleep time. It's easy to move around, even room to room, and maneuvers well. Build and finish are great, and it looks great in the bedroom. Our baby finds it very soothing and sleeps really well. The rubber arms create a very gentle and realistic rocking and bouncing motion, which she finds soothing, and she just floats off to sleep. The organic cotton material is soft and pleasant to the touch. We had a small issue with one of the parts when it arrived, and the customer service was nothing short of fantastic, quick, decisive and very supportive. All up, a great purchase!

I purchased the Hushamok Dream as a substitute for a bassinette and it has been perfect! Our baby has been sleeping in it from about week 2 and he is 7 weeks now. He is much happier in this than in his crib! We generally rock him to sleep at night in a rocking chair and then place him in the hammock. He inevitably wakes up a bit when we put him down but the hammock gently rocks as he stirs and moves around and I think it helps him fall back asleep. As a plus, it is really stylish! We plan to buy the chair attachment later so we can use it as a swing once we move our baby to his crib. All in all, this is a great product and we love it!

I bought the hushamock for a friend who just had her first baby. she absolutely loves this product. her baby sleeps so comfortably and soundly in the hushamock - she love it and says it is truly a dream product - nothing else like it. it was super easy to assemble, came with everything needed. great product for a newborn baby!

I just bought the Hushamok Dream for my newborn - he has been sleeping in it now for almost a week (he is only 12 days old) and I am THRILLED with this product! He happily snoozes in there for as long as 5.5 hours, which as any parent knows is a godsend! I wish I had bought this when my first child was born, as I suspect it would have made my life easier. I initially wanted it primarily because it just looks so cool, and is a much nicer piece of furniture to have in the middle of our contemporary home than most baby bassinets. Now I love not just the look of it, but also how well it seems to be working for us. Furthermore, the customer support from the company has been fantastic - I emailed a question and got a response that day, and they have been terrific about following up and are very helpful. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this product, and I only wish I had also bought the seat for when my son grows out of the hammock!
